From good intentions
to real action.

We are building simple, welcoming ways for students and community members to support foster youth together.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

Four ways we plan to make a difference.

Because Little Lights is just getting started, these are the areas guiding our first events and projects. We will grow them carefully as we learn and build community relationships.

Practical support

We plan to run donation and toy drives that turn campus support into useful resources for foster youth.

Awareness & advocacy

We will start honest conversations about foster care, challenge stigma, and help students become informed advocates.

Student action

Students will have ways to volunteer, fundraise, collaborate, and use their skills to help.

Belonging & joy

We want our events to feel welcoming and create moments where young people feel celebrated, connected, and valued.

Listen

Learn from foster youth, caregivers, and experienced community organizations.

→
Mobilize

Give students clear ways to volunteer, donate, fundraise, and advocate.

→
Support

Put our time and resources toward practical community needs.

→
Grow

Build awareness and partnerships that last beyond one event.
